This contract opportunity runs from September 14th through November 30th, covering the fall term at the elementary level with a manageable, focused caseload.

Work hands-on, full time (37.5 hours a week), exclusively onsite with a diverse group of students (approximately 50-60) who will benefit from your skilled support. You’ll employ evidence-based practices, collaborate with teachers and families, and help children access their fullest potential during a crucial point in their formative years.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure for Louisiana (or ability to obtain)
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
  • Previous school-based SLP experience is an advantage
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to K-5 students
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
  • Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings
  • Work closely with teachers, other school professionals, and families
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district policies
