Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license or eligibility for certification in Louisiana
  • Experience working with K–12 students, including those with diverse communication needs
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate speech and language interventions
  • Comfortable with both group and customized 1:1 student support
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Collaborative attitude and flexibility in dynamic school settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students across various grade levels
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
  • Deliver direct therapy in both group and 1:1 settings, monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to collaborative planning for student support
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families about progress and recommendations
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
