School Speech Language Pathologist - Methuen, Massachusetts

Make an immediate impact working with preschool-aged children in a supportive educational setting near Methuen, MA! This contract opportunity involves serving students across Moody PreK and community sites, where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will help shape early language, communication, and social skills. Desired Qualifications:

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
• Experience working with preschool-aged children, preferably in a school-based or early childhood environment
• Skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
• Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload of 10-15 students effectively
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for PreK students in need of speech therapy services
• Provide direct speech and language therapy in both the PreK center and designated community sites
• Maintain clear, accurate records of student progress and services delivered
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about student goals, progress, and strategies for reinforcement at home
