Key Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts SLP License
  • Massachusetts Department of Education certification required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • School-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and work effectively within educational teams

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insight regarding student progress
  • Remain current on best practices and state regulations related to school-based speech-language pathology
