Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a dynamic contract opportunity serving K-12 students for the 2026-2027 academic year near Michigan City, IN. This position offers the chance to work full-time, helping students reach their communication and academic goals in a supportive educational setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license in Indiana (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • Recent experience working with school-aged children—K-12 preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and progress reporting
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
  • Collaborative attitude and excellent communication abilities
  • Organizational skills and adaptability within a school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in grades K-12
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs
  • Maintain timely documentation and progress reports, staying compliant with regulatory standards
  • Partner with teachers, staff, and families to support student success and generalization of skills
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute your expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Use evidence-based interventions suited to diverse learning needs

This contract role offers a consistent 35-hour work week, starting August 10, 2026 and concluding May 28, 2027. You’ll make a lasting impact as you support students’ confidence, communication skills, and overall growth throughout the academic year.
