School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Michigan City, Indiana

This contract position offers the opportunity to serve K-12th grade students during the 2026-2027 academic year, with a consistent 35-hour workweek from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP state license (or eligibility in Indiana)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) considered
• Previous experience in a school-based environment preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for fostering positive outcomes for students of all ages and abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders to K-12th grade students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with educational teams
• Monitor student progress, complete required documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Educate and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families on effective communication strategies and interventions
• Create resources and activities tailored to diverse student needs, helping them reach their full academic and personal potential
