Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in Maryland (or eligibility)
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but motivated newcomers are welcome
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to effectively manage a varied caseload
  • Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for all students

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
  • Work directly with students in individual or group settings to target specific goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate strategies into the classroom
  • Provide progress updates and participate in IEP meetings
  • Document services and maintain accurate records in compliance with district guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
