Speech Language Pathologist in Middleburg, FL

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) serving schools in the Jacksonville, FL area. This on-site position begins August 10, 2026, and runs through May 28, 2027, offering stable, full-time hours (35 hours per week, 7 hours per day) during the academic year. You’ll work in one assigned school, with potential placements ranging from elementary to high school and specialized center schools, supporting PreK-12 students with varying needs.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Active Florida Department of Health SLP Licensure (CCC required)
• Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse caseloads and student needs
• Comfort working exclusively on-site; remote (VOCO) work is not available
• Ability to complete required fingerprinting and credentialing for Florida school districts, including AHCA Clearinghouse verification and JLA badge processing

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students with mild to moderate needs (caseloads estimated at 60; to be confirmed based on assignment)
• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs in collaboration with school teams
• Screen, assess, and monitor progress across a range of communication disorders
• Document services and outcomes according to school and district guidelines
• Engage families, teachers, and other professionals to support student success
