Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active state license (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Previous experience working in school settings is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Comfort with assessment, development of IEP goals, and implementation of intervention plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs in collaboration with educational teams
- Provide direct therapy services to students, adapting techniques to their unique needs
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support generalization of skills across environments
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and therapy sessions in accordance with district policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success
