Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current licensure to practice as an SLP in Wisconsin (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered
  • Prior school-based or pediatric experience is highly valued
  • Skilled in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for a diverse caseload
  • Compassionate communicator who values collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with varied needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services, assessments, and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and collaborate with school staff
  • Advise and support classroom teachers in implementing communication strategies
