In this contract position, you’ll utilize your clinical expertise in pediatrics, speech-language pathology, and teletherapy to support students’ diverse needs. Collaborative by nature, you’ll join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to fostering each child’s success.
What You'll Need:
- Active Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Experience in educational or healthcare settings (school-based background preferred)
- Skill in both in-person and remote (teletherapy) service delivery
- Passion for working with preschool and elementary-aged students
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services using evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Support students with a range of communication disorders
