Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Middletown, Delaware

In this contract position, you’ll utilize your clinical expertise in pediatrics, speech-language pathology, and teletherapy to support students’ diverse needs. Collaborative by nature, you’ll join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to fostering each child’s success.

What You'll Need:

• Active Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
• Experience in educational or healthcare settings (school-based background preferred)
• Skill in both in-person and remote (teletherapy) service delivery
• Passion for working with preschool and elementary-aged students

Your Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy services using evidence-based practices
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Support students with a range of communication disorders
