Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Previous experience as a school-based SLP
- Proficiency or experience in American Sign Language is a plus, but not mandatory
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services and assessments to students as outlined in IEPs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to address students’ needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
