Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist license required
  • Previous experience as a school-based SLP
  • Proficiency or experience in American Sign Language is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services and assessments to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to address students’ needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
