Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience providing speech and language services in school environments
- Strong knowledge of therapy planning and IEP documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with children, families, and education teams
- Ability to create specialized goals and therapy sessions tailored to student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students following Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop reports, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and required documentation
- Offer resources and strategies for families and educators to support carryover of skills
