Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Experience providing speech and language services in school environments
  • Strong knowledge of therapy planning and IEP documentation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with children, families, and education teams
  • Ability to create specialized goals and therapy sessions tailored to student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students following Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, develop reports, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and required documentation
  • Offer resources and strategies for families and educators to support carryover of skills
