Make a difference in the lives of students by delivering vital speech-language services in a supportive school environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists enthusiastic about working with diverse age groups in a center-based and community setting. In-person candidates will collaborate on either a center-based preschool caseload—including an option to add Mondays for itinerant preschoolers in community childcare settings—or provide impactful speech services to high school students and those transitioning to adulthood (ages 18–22).

Assignment Details:

  • Contract term: July 6, 2026, to August 6, 2026
    • July 6: Orientation and setup
    • Work days: Tuesday through Thursday (option to extend to Monday for preschool itinerant students)
  • Staff hours: Vary by assignment location
  • Candidates must be available for in-person service

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Prior experience in school-based and/or pediatric settings
  • Expertise supporting children with communication disorders
  • Skill in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work across preschool, high school, and transition-age populations

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to assigned caseload
  • Conduct evaluations and document progress
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Adjust therapy strategies to meet student needs in both center and community environments
