Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with students
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students with various communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of progress and intervention strategies
- Engage proactively with parents, teachers, and staff to facilitate student success and inclusion
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school-wide initiatives
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology
