School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Middletown, Delaware

Embark on an opportunity to make a tangible impact on elementary-aged students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school-based setting. This full-time contract position offers the chance to support and empower young learners while working alongside passionate educators and families. The role focuses on providing high-quality speech-language therapy, conducting evaluations, and actively participating in the development and monitoring of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist License/Certification (required)
• Strongly prefer prior experience in a school environment, especially at the elementary level
• Demonstrated ability delivering speech-language therapy and conducting thorough student evaluations
• Background in developing IEP goals and collecting/documenting student progress data
• Exceptional communication skills and a team-oriented approach to collaborating with teachers, families, and related service providers
• Commitment to working onsite for the full school day; punctual attendance is essential

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to elementary school students
• Complete comprehensive speech-language evaluations and assessments
• Participate in the IEP process, including goal development and team meetings
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation and student progress records
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to foster students’ development
• Adapt to evolving caseload assignments as needed based on district requirements

This assignment is scheduled to run from now through mid-June 2027, following elementary school hours. The interview process is streamlined and conducted via Google Meet (15–30 minutes).
