Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active SLP license for the state of Delaware (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply
- Prior experience in school settings is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and tailor therapy plans to diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure positive student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education plans
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress
- Provide direct and indirect services across a range of ages and abilities
- Offer consultative support to classroom staff and caregivers
