Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Middletown, NY
Contract | K-12 (Primarily Elementary) | September 2025 – June 2026

This role offers the opportunity to support approximately 35 students, primarily in elementary grades, within a single school setting. You will provide comprehensive speech and language services aimed at fostering student communication and academic success through individualized interventions and collaborative teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to identify individual student needs
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy plans for diverse communication disorders
  • Deliver direct therapy services focused on speech, language, and related skills
  • Collaborate closely with educators and staff to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications
  • Monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to promote continuous improvement
  • Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to goal-setting and progress evaluation
  • Offer guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to support student development

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of IEP procedures and educational regulations

Location and Schedule:

  • Position located in Middletown, NY
  • Contract role aligned with the academic calendar, September through June
  • Scheduled school hours with vacation time coinciding with school breaks

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly pay rate ranging from $53 to $60
