Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license or eligibility for licensure in the state
- Previous experience in a school setting highly valued
- Skill and compassion working with children on the autism spectrum
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to compliance and documentation best practices
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Deliver targeted interventions to foster communication, social skills, and academic progress
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in cooperation with educators and families
- Monitor progress and adjust strategies to meet evolving needs
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Serve as an advocate for students’ communication success within the school community
