A School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a K-12 public school setting in Midland, GA, on a contract basis for the current school year, from ASAP through May 21, 2026. This position offers flexible scheduling, ranging from part-time to full-time hours (up to 37.5 hours per week), to accommodate various candidate preferences.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive speech-language evaluations and therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting services to meet evolving needs.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with all district and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Educator certification.
- Candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) will also be considered.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
