This full-time contract opportunity near Midland, NC invites passionate, experienced speech-language pathologists to offer in-person support at the school level, foster collaborative IEP development, and help students reach their communication potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active NCDPI SLP License required (please ensure you can verify active licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Familiarity with ECATS essential
  • Experience working in school settings, supporting IEP goals and documentation
  • Proficiency in evaluations, screenings, writing present levels of performance, and setting annual goals

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, in-person speech-language services to a manageable caseload (currently 39 students, with no more than 50, including Speech Only and Speech as a Related Service)
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
  • Conduct timely speech and language evaluations, assessments, and screenings
  • Develop effective IEP goals and accurate progress documentation
  • Maintain thorough records and ensure compliance with all relevant state and school policies

This assignment runs from early August to late May, with 37.5 hours each week following the school calendar. The role offers consistency and a chance to work in a supportive educational setting, focusing on both individualized therapy and broader school-based collaboration.
