Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP or CFY considered)
  • Experience working in school settings with diverse age groups
  • Comfortable providing services for elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Competency delivering both group and individualized (1:1) therapy sessions
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet students’ unique needs
  • Enthusiasm for collaborating with educators, administrators, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and individualized therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored for K-12 students
  • Provide direct services in classroom, small group, and 1:1 settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and school staff to ensure effective interventions
  • Monitor and document student progress, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Engage with families and caregivers, offering resources and support for ongoing development
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and school-based speech-language pathology processes
