Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP or CFY considered)
- Experience working in school settings with diverse age groups
- Comfortable providing services for elementary, middle, and high school students
- Competency delivering both group and individualized (1:1) therapy sessions
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet students’ unique needs
- Enthusiasm for collaborating with educators, administrators, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and individualized therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored for K-12 students
- Provide direct services in classroom, small group, and 1:1 settings
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and school staff to ensure effective interventions
- Monitor and document student progress, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Engage with families and caregivers, offering resources and support for ongoing development
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and school-based speech-language pathology processes
