School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Midlothian, Illinois

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist this fall. This contract assignment offers the chance to make a positive, lasting impact, working a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, from August 10, 2026, through October 30, 2026. You'll collaborate with dedicated educators and families to help children develop essential communication skills, all within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Prior school-based experience serving K-12 populations preferred
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Knowledge of evaluation and therapy techniques for diverse communication needs
• Comfortable working with students across a wide range of abilities and age groups

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy services tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support holistic student success
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and legal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and consultations, contributing expertise to student teams
• Foster an inclusive, empathetic environment that supports students’ educational growth
