As a travel SLP supporting high school students (grades 9–12) from August 13, 2026, through June 3, 2027, you'll work a consistent full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You’ll gain valuable experience working alongside multi-disciplinary teams, learning distinct leadership styles, and adopting innovative educational practices—ultimately building an impressive resume while enjoying diverse workplace cultures.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based experience with high school students preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students in grades 9–12
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and team conferences
