Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
  • Ability to effectively supervise and mentor an SLPA
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Supervise, mentor, and support an SLPA in daily activities and case management
  • Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document student progress
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on speech and language goals
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
