Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
- Ability to effectively supervise and mentor an SLPA
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Supervise, mentor, and support an SLPA in daily activities and case management
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document student progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on speech and language goals
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
