Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads preferred
- Ability to supervise and mentor Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver diagnostic and therapy services to a diverse student population
- Develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans/goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Supervise and assist the assigned SLPA, ensuring quality care and adherence to best practices
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer creative solutions and tailored interventions to meet each student’s unique needs
