Qualifications and Experience Desired:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current and valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates may be considered
  • Prior experience in school settings a plus
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
  • Comfortable working with diverse student populations, including those with varying abilities and backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive screenings and assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the educational team
  • Deliver targeted therapy, both individually and in small groups, to address speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Provide progress reports and participate in IEP meetings as an essential team member
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and professional standards
  • Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices
