Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current and valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates may be considered
- Prior experience in school settings a plus
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations, including those with varying abilities and backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive screenings and assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the educational team
- Deliver targeted therapy, both individually and in small groups, to address speech, language, and communication disorders
- Provide progress reports and participate in IEP meetings as an essential team member
- Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and professional standards
- Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices
