Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for SLP licensure
- Prior experience with K-12 school populations preferred, but not required
- Strong knowledge of speech/language development, intervention strategies, and IEP processes
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to varied student needs and build rapport across age groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for a mixed K-12 caseload
- Develop and implement personalized IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and Medicaid billing as needed
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services, adjusting approaches to maximize student growth
