Speech Language Pathologist in Midlothian, VA

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Current state licensure, or eligibility for licensure, as an SLP
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow considered
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting is a plus
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively serve a mixed caseload across K-12 grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to elementary, middle, and high school students based on individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, families, and other related service providers to support student success
• Serve as a resource for staff and parents regarding language, articulation, and communication strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and professional development
