Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid Virginia SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, open to strong Clinical Fellows
  • School-based or pediatric SLP experience is highly valued
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to varied caseloads and learning needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted interventions
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student success
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress reports, and required documentation
  • Deliver both direct and consultative speech therapy services in accordance with IEPs
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development
