Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Virginia SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, open to strong Clinical Fellows
- School-based or pediatric SLP experience is highly valued
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to varied caseloads and learning needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted interventions
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress reports, and required documentation
- Deliver both direct and consultative speech therapy services in accordance with IEPs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development
