About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide coverage for an elementary school team in the Milaca, Minnesota area. This is a unique opportunity for an SLP interested in a long-term substitute assignment with the potential for a reduced schedule following the initial coverage period.

Position Highlights

• Provide speech and language services to students at an elementary school.
• Serve as a long-term substitute for approximately 10 weeks, beginning around October.
• Following the initial assignment, transition to approximately 2 days per week.
• Provide direct therapy and support students in achieving their communication goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other related-service professionals.
• Participate in student goal development, progress monitoring, and documentation.
• Work as part of a collaborative educational team focused on student success.
• Position is expected to continue through the 2026–2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
• Minnesota SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• CCC-SLP preferred.
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Passion for helping students develop functional communication skills and succeed in the classroom.
