Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Experience or Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
  • Proven expertise in school-based, pediatric SLP settings
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience, ideally overseeing SLPAs
  • Strong background with evaluations, documentation, and IEP processes

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students, individually and in groups
  • Supervise and mentor 2 SLPAs, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback
  • Complete initial, triennial, and ongoing speech-language evaluations with accurate, timely documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support each student’s IEP goals
  • Contribute to planning and implementing effective communication strategies within the school setting
  • Maintain meticulous records and stay current with best practices in the field
