Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Tennessee (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Recent experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently onsite (SLPA supervision is not required/SLPAs are not part of this role)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for a diverse student caseload (specific details available soon)
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that align with students’ developmental goals
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in classrooms or designated therapy areas
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student progress and inclusion
- Maintain thorough records and contribute to eligibility and progress meetings as needed
