Step into an impactful school-based role where you’ll deliver essential speech-language pathology (SLP) services to K-12 students. This full-time, on-site opportunity runs the entire 2026-2027 school year, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week). Located in a vibrant school setting near Milford, DE, you’ll join a supportive, collaborative educational team dedicated to helping students thrive.

Your expertise as an SLP-CCC and your active Delaware licensure/certification will empower students requiring therapy, evaluations, and ongoing IEP support. You’ll work closely with families and school professionals, using digital platforms like Data Service Center and PowerSchool IEP to track student progress and contribute to a positive educational experience.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Hold a current, active Delaware SLP license/certification (must provide confirmation at submission)
  • SLP-CCC credentials are required
  • Prior experience in schools strongly preferred
  • Skilled in conducting speech/language evaluations, writing IEPs, and implementing therapy services
  • Comfortable using school-based software for data entry and documentation
  • Able to attend meetings, collect and monitor student progress, and maintain thorough therapy notes
  • Reliable transportation and consistent on-site presence required
  • Only SLPs considered; SLPAs are not eligible for this role

Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech therapy services directly to students
  • Conduct formal and informal evaluations
  • Create and update IEPs, ensuring compliance and student-centered planning
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings with educators and families
  • Manage progress documentation and maintain accurate therapy records
