This full-time, onsite role focuses on delivering comprehensive speech therapy services within an educational environment. You will support students’ communication growth, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and play a vital part in creating positive learning experiences.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Delaware speech-language pathology license/certification (must provide documentation upon application)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
  • Expertise in conducting evaluations, drafting IEPs, and implementing therapy for a diverse student population
  • Proficient with Data Service Center and PowerSchool IEP platforms
  • Please note: At this time, SLPAs will not be considered

Role Overview & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Perform assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations
  • Develop timely, accurate IEP documents and participate in meetings with staff and parents
  • Maintain thorough progress monitoring and therapy notes for each student
  • Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support holistic student progress
  • Manage varying grade levels and caseload assignments (specifics to be determined)

The position offers a consistent weekly schedule (37.5 hours, Monday–Friday) and the chance to work in a dynamic school setting. Flexibility and adaptability are key as specific caseload and grade assignments will be shared during the interview process.
