Discover an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow, providing vital support to learners from kindergarten through age 22. In this full-time contract role, you’ll work closely with students with moderate to severe disabilities, helping them develop their communication and language abilities in a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on the planning and delivery of speech-language therapy, including assistive technology, augmentative communication, social skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and receptive/expressive language delays
- Perform diagnostic and evaluative assessments as needed for student support
- Deliver clear, comprehensive reports grounded in student assessments and classroom observation
- Develop and maintain IEP objectives tailored to individual student needs
- Communicate effectively with parents and fellow educators to support student development and growth
- Support a caseload that includes students from ages 2 to 22 years with a range of communication challenges
Qualifications:
- Hold, or be eligible for, Delaware state licensure as an SLP or CF (Clinical Fellow)
- Experience with students with moderate to severe disabilities is strongly preferred
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit
- Adaptable with strong problem-solving abilities
