Make a meaningful impact by providing essential speech and language services to students in a vibrant school setting. This full-time, contract role offers 37.5 hours per week and involves working with a diverse student population from kindergarten through age 22. Utilize your expertise as a licensed SLP or a Clinical Fellow (CFY) to help students overcome communication barriers and reach their developmental goals.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Hold or be eligible for a current Delaware state license as an SLP or CFY
  • Comfortable working with students ages 2 to 22, including those with moderate to severe disabilities
  • Prior experience with this population is advantageous
  • Possess excellent communication abilities and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a strong ability to problem-solve

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan, and deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy interventions
  • Address student needs related to assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language pragmatics, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and both receptive and expressive language delays
  • Conduct thorough diagnostic and evaluative assessments
  • Generate clear, insightful reports summarizing student performance and progress
  • Contribute to the development and ongoing revision of Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and related service providers to support student growth
