Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a contract Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) working full-time in a diverse educational environment. This opportunity offers you the chance to work alongside a collaborative group of professionals, serving students ranging from kindergarten through age 22, including those with moderate to severe disabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to the planning and delivery of effective speech-language therapy for students of varying abilities
  • Addressing assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language, articulation, voice, oral-motor, feeding, and receptive/expressive language development
  • Conducting thorough diagnostic and evaluation assessments
  • Providing clear, comprehensive reports that reflect student progress and areas of need
  • Developing and maintaining IEP objectives and documentation
  • Collaborating with parents, teachers, and fellow specialists to discuss and implement support strategies
  • Demonstrating comfort and adaptability when working with students presenting a wide range of developmental challenges

Qualifications:

  • Eligible for or in possession of a valid Delaware SLP license
  • SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY considered
  • Experience with moderate to severe disabilities preferred
  • Strong communication, flexibility, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
