Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to tailor interventions for diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Provide direct therapy services aligned with student IEP goals
  • Work in partnership with teachers, parents, and other support staff
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with school and district standards
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and offer insight for student success
