Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to tailor interventions for diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide direct therapy services aligned with student IEP goals
- Work in partnership with teachers, parents, and other support staff
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with school and district standards
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and offer insight for student success
