Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Millbrook, AL

This on-site contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with elementary students, performing both therapy and evaluations while collaborating within a supportive school setting. Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active ASHA certification for Alabama (AL ASHA Cert)
• Alabama Educator SLP Certification (can begin with pending status)
• Experience providing both therapeutic interventions and conducting evaluations in a school setting
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, staff, and families
• Comfortable working solely on-site
• SLPAs are not eligible for this role

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy and conduct comprehensive evaluations for elementary-age students
• Maintain and update records in compliance with all educational and medical guidelines
• Create individualized treatment plans and progress reports
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support student academic and social success
• Participate in parent meetings, IEP development, and ongoing school activities
• Monitor student progress and adapt strategies as needed throughout the school year

This contract position is scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, through the end of the school year. You’ll work in a welcoming elementary school environment, with manageable caseloads so you can focus on delivering quality care.
