A full-time or part-time Speech Language Pathologist is needed to provide comprehensive support to K-12 students in a school setting located in Millinocket, ME. This contract position spans the full school year and focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language services across a caseload of approximately 20 students.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Providing direct therapy services aligned with student goals
  • Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborating with educators and families
  • Utilizing VOCO technology as part of the communication intervention tools

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Certification as an SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence), SLP CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year), or School-Based SLP credentials

  • Strong assessment and intervention skills in pediatric speech and language disorders
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills within an educational environment
  • Familiarity and comfort with integrating VOCO augmentative communication systems
