In this role, you will provide essential speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 20 students. Your expertise will guide comprehensive evaluations, therapy sessions, and participation in interdisciplinary meetings. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active SLP license in the state of Maine, or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Prior experience or strong interest in school-based speech services
- Capable of completing thorough evaluations and individualized education plan (IEP) documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to students, effectively managing a diverse caseload
- Complete comprehensive assessments and maintain accurate records for student progress
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and other required conferences
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for school speech services
- Option to offer services via VOCO teletherapy in addition to traditional in-person therapy, expanding your reach and flexibility
