Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but new graduates with strong internships are welcome
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for working with K-12 students of varying needs and backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educators and families
- Deliver direct and consultative services, adapting strategies for diverse learning profiles
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, school staff, and caregivers to support student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities
