Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is beneficial
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services individually or in small groups
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student success
- Monitor progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer guidance and resources to teachers and caregivers for effective student support in classroom settings
