Step into a rewarding role supporting students’ communication growth in an engaging school environment near Millsboro, DE. This contract opportunity will have you working closely with children from Kindergarten through 12th grade, with the flexibility to choose either a full-time (35 hours per week) or part-time schedule. The assignment runs from August 19, 2026, through June 8, 2027. Whether you’re a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC), a Clinical Fellow (CFY), or have strong experience in early intervention, your expertise will help transform young lives.

In this essential role, you will:

  • Actively participate in planning and delivering speech and language therapy tailored to diverse learner needs
  • Address areas such as assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and language delays
  • Conduct diagnostic and evaluation assessments, providing detailed and clear reports from your findings
  • Work closely with early intervention and school-aged students, supporting their communication journeys
  • Create, update, and monitor IEP objectives to promote student success
  • Foster open, constructive communication with families and interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent support and progress for each student

Your qualifications include:

  • Eligibility for or possession of a Delaware state license as an SLP or CFY
  • Background working with early childhood and K-12 populations; experience with moderate to severe student needs is a plus
  • Strong teamwork, flexibility, and communication skills
  • Resourceful, solution-oriented mindset when faced with new challenges
