Step into an impactful role for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting K-6th grade students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position offers part-time flexibility, working two full days dedicated to direct student services and a half day reserved for meetings and evaluations, starting from the end of August through the end of the academic year.
You’ll address a growing and diverse caseload, collaborating with educators and fellow professionals to foster meaningful progress in your students. You’ll deliver speech and language therapy services to young learners, contribute to assessment teams, and help tailor individualized plans that make a difference.
Qualifications and Background:
- Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; SLPAs and Clinical Fellows with strong school-based backgrounds are encouraged to apply
- Experience providing speech and language services in an educational setting, preferably with elementary students (K-6th)
- Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive environment for students from varied backgrounds
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to K-6th grade students, both individually and in small groups
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in interdisciplinary meetings
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and communicate student progress with families and team members
- Collaborate with teachers to support classroom strategies and student generalization of skills
