A rewarding contract opportunity awaits skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP or CFY) eager to make a positive difference in a dynamic school environment. Serving a diverse student population from Kindergarten through 12th grade, this position offers both full-time (35 hours/week) and part-time flexibility, perfect for those seeking a schedule that fits their needs. The assignment spans the academic year, beginning August 19, 2026, and concluding June 8, 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engaging direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students, addressing areas such as assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and both receptive and expressive language delays
  • Perform comprehensive diagnostic and evaluation testing as needed
  • Deliver clear, thorough, and insightful reports based on student assessments and classroom observations
  • Work comfortably with early intervention and early childhood students
  • Create and manage Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals, tracking progress and adjusting supports as necessary
  • Collaborate and communicate consistently with parents, educators, and support staff to foster student growth and success
  • Demonstrate flexibility and creative problem-solving to overcome barriers and meet diverse student needs

Qualifications:

  • Possess or qualify for a Delaware state SLP license
  • Open to both experienced SLPs (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFY)
  • Previous experience with moderate to severe student populations is a plus
  • Strong skills in communication and teamwork
  • Adaptable, with a solution-focused approach
