Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Compassionate approach to working with children and diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Design and deliver therapy sessions tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student growth
- Maintain detailed, compliant documentation of evaluations, progress, and outcomes
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
- Educate staff and families about speech and language development, as well as strategies for support
- Ensure all services comply with federal, state, and district policies
