Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure for speech-language pathology in Wisconsin or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students across age groups
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each student's needs and educational goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to facilitate student progress and optimize learning outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation on student performance, progress, and services provided
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
  • Educate and support staff and families regarding communication needs and strategies for student success
