Licensed Certified Speech Language Pathologist in Milwaukee, WI

Make a difference every day supporting students as a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting just outside Milwaukee, WI. This full-time contract position offers the chance to work with a collaborative special education team while helping mild to moderate students reach their full communication potential.

Key Qualifications:

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Current, valid state license to practice as an SLP
• Previous experience in a school environment is preferred
• Proficient in conducting evaluations, writing and implementing IEPs
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage caseloads
• Collaborative spirit with excellent communication abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy to students with mild to moderate speech and language needs
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support student learning goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing student progress discussions
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy, assessments, and student performance
• Stay current on best practices and compliance with all state and federal guidelines
