Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Prior experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to adapt to diverse student needs.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and perform evaluations to identify students’ speech, language, and communication strengths and needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s requirements.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success.
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP team meetings as required.
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions in alignment with school guidelines and best practices.
  • Offer guidance and resources to teachers and parents to foster communication development outside the therapy setting.
