A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist experienced in pediatric and school-based services, with a strong background in teletherapy and healthcare settings. This travel position is based in Milwaukee, WI, serving in a school environment with a caseload of approximately 35 students.

Key responsibilities include providing both pull-out and push-in therapy, focusing on a diverse group of students primarily from 2nd to 5th grade. A significant portion of services will target intensive needs, supporting around six students with 4k/5k intensive service requirements. Collaboration with another full-time SLP enhances teamwork and shared support for the student population.

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience with pediatric caseloads in schools, healthcare, and teletherapy settings
  • Ability to manage caseloads independently, including comprehensive therapeutic intervention
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and healthcare providers
  • Certification to work within a school environment and familiarity with pediatric speech and language therapy

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students based on their specific needs
  • Implement both pull-out and push-in service models, adapting to student requirements
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports for each student
  • Work closely with education teams to integrate therapy goals within classroom settings
  • Utilize teletherapy resources as necessary to enhance service delivery
