School Speech Therapist - Minneapolis, Minnesota

Make an impact in the lives of students by working in a supportive school environment near Minneapolis, MN. This contract opportunity is open to Speech-Language Pathologists who hold an active State of Minnesota SLP license and either possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or are currently in their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CF). Candidates will have the ability to tailor their caseload preference, performing evaluations, participating in IEP meetings, and conducting student assessments. Full-time and part-time schedules are both available for the 2024/2025 academic year, with all work conducted onsite.

Desired Qualifications:

• U.S. work authorization (required)
• Active Minnesota SLP licensure
• SLP-CCC or eligible Clinical Fellow (CFY) status
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and be flexible with caseloads

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students as determined by IEPs
• Conduct comprehensive speech/language evaluations and assessments
• Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current in best practices
