In this school-based SLP role, you’ll assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for students with speech and language challenges. You’ll collaborate closely with educators and families to create and implement individualized plans that foster student growth. The caseload spans PreK-12th grade, and both part-time and full-time schedules are available to suit your needs for the 2024-2025 school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Minnesota SLP License (active or pending)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)
- Minimum of 2 years of previous school-based experience
- Proficiency with computers, webcams, and teletherapy platforms
- Ability to pass a technical screening and meet internet speed requirements
- Annual liability insurance coverage ($500K/$500K)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments via teletherapy
- Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver engaging direct and indirect therapy to students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student success
- Track progress and document outcomes to support each student’s unique goals
