Ideal candidates will bring the following:

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) for Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Active or pending Minnesota SLP license
  • At least two years of prior school-based SLP experience
  • Proficiency in teletherapy platforms, basic computer skills, and reliable internet access (must pass technical screening and internet speed test)
  • Liability insurance coverage of $500K/$500K annually
  • Experience with pediatric populations, particularly across PreK-12th grade
  • Ability to provide both direct therapy and indirect support
  • Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments, diagnosing speech and language disorders, and creating tailored treatment plans
  • Delivering therapy and interventions to students remotely
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote student progress
  • Documenting services and monitoring progress toward individualized goals
  • Participating in IEP meetings and adhering to special education guidelines
