Ideal candidates will bring the following:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) for Speech-Language Pathologists
- Active or pending Minnesota SLP license
- At least two years of prior school-based SLP experience
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms, basic computer skills, and reliable internet access (must pass technical screening and internet speed test)
- Liability insurance coverage of $500K/$500K annually
- Experience with pediatric populations, particularly across PreK-12th grade
- Ability to provide both direct therapy and indirect support
- Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments, diagnosing speech and language disorders, and creating tailored treatment plans
- Delivering therapy and interventions to students remotely
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote student progress
- Documenting services and monitoring progress toward individualized goals
- Participating in IEP meetings and adhering to special education guidelines
